  • STEM Muse established its first institutional sponsorship at a campus outside of Austin– with the George Brown School of Engineering at Rice University as an Institutional Supporter.
    Rice Engineering's vision is to be an exemplary model of engineering educational excellence, focused on preparing socially responsible engineers and producing research that contributes to the greater good. Rice Engineering's Center for Engineering Excellence Through Equity will leverage the School of Engineering's community strengths to build an inclusive school culture that welcomes people from diverse backgrounds and actively seeks to implement equitable practices and institutional structures that ensure all students, faculty and staff feel values and, most importantly, thrive at Rice University.

  • STEM Muse has established its first community partnership with the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Network of Actuarial Women and Allies at the gold level.
    The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) provides credentialing and professional education for actuaries working in the property and casualty risk management field. Founded in 1914, the CAS now serves over 10,000 members worldwide. The Network of Actuarial Women and Allies (NAWA) aims to connect and empower women of all backgrounds, races, ethnicities and life circumstances to be successful in the actuarial profession. The CAS and NAWA are working together to encourage more women interested in mathematics, statistics, business and finance to pursue a career as an actuary.

  • STEM Muse has established its first institutional sponsorships with the College of Natural Sciences as a Signature Supporter and Cockrell School of Engineering as an Institutional Supporter, at the University of Texas at Austin.
    The College of Natural Sciences, UT Austin’s largest college, is also one of the biggest science schools in the nation. They are home to 16 programs for undergraduate and graduate students ranked in the top 10 nationally. They believe in small-community experiences and unmatched opportunities at scale.
