You, your corporation, instituion, or organization can support women's professional success in STEM

  • Become a mentor or a mentee!
Our program welcomes mentors in academia and industry from across the nation. We support the academic and professional development of undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral associates, and research staff currently at the University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College with a focus on women and people with genders underrepresented in STEM, and at Rice University.

Corporate sponsors have the opportunity to give back to the community and to reach job candidates well before they step into your office or lab on Day 1. Our sponsors have the opportunity to:

  • Achieve a competitive edge in the talent market by gaining early access to an underrepresented, high-achieving pool of talent
  • Gain recognition for diversity and inclusion and achieve your affirmative action goals
  • Provide your employees with opportunities to promote the professional success of women in STEM and to hone their leadership skills
  • Create sustained, meaningful interactions with potential future employees through mentor slots and a cohort of mentees devoted to your company
  • Host events with our network, including but not limited to: technical talks, resume review sessions/mock interviews, and company site tours
  • Host career booths
  • Post positions to our job board
  • Access program data and success metrics, enabling you to better understand your recruits and to reward your employees for their service

Instituional sponsors are able to attract and support diverse undergraduate, graduate students, postdocs, research staff, and faculty to their institutions. Sponsors can:

  • Promote exploration and exposure to careers in research and industry
  • Provide students access to professionals more advanced in their careers and a critical training opportunity for building of soft-skills and proactive, professional communication
  • Promote a culture of mentorship and paying it forward, preparing students to be productive and engaged citizens
  • Build active relationships with your alumni network and ensure longstanding engagement post-graduation.

Other community partners (nonprofits) have the opportunity to reach potential members and to support our early-career students and professionals. Sponsorship enables you to:

  • Market your organization and events to our network through booths at our events, access to our event announcement board
  • Educate and encourage students to pursue opportunities in your area they might not have considered, host events with our network
  • Reserve invitations for your members to our events
